War between TDP and BJP; opp calls for bandh on Feb 8th

Hyderabad, Feb 05: The rift between TDP and its ally BJP is in open now after Andhra Pradesh was denied funds in Union Budget.

TDP members and BJP indulged in war of words over the 'raw deal' meted out to the state in the Union Budget.
Opposition leaders have called for a statewide bandh on February 8th.

TDP MLAs slammed BJP for looking sown upon its alliance with the party.

BJP MLC accused TDP of indulging in massive corruption to siphon off Central funds, which made TDP workers more angry and they tried to enter his house forcefully.
Slogans were raised against the BJP and TDP workers even burnt Veerraju's effigy at Vijayawada.
