Ryan school case: Main accused Class 11 student, witness conductor

Gurgaon, Feb 05: The murder case of an eight-year-old student at Gurgaon's Ryan International School which led to protest by many has finally came to a conclusion with CBI filing a 5,000 page charge sheet against Class 11 student of the same school.

Bus Conductor Ashok Kumar who was first arrested by Haryana Police during preliminary investigation has been made the prime witness now.

The CBI had demolished the Gurgaon police's theory of the conductor's involvement and apprehended a 16-year-old student in the case on November 7.

The probe agency which had named the juvenile as main accused in the case, said in the charge sheet that "there is sufficient evidence for prosecution" against the accused for the murder.

Pradyuman Thakur, a Class 2 student was found murdered in the school bathroom on November 7.
