Man kills wife while suspects her fidelity

Narasapuram (West Godavari), Feb 04:Here is a gruesome incident has unveiled while a man allegedly hit his wife with an iron rod and killed her on suspicion that she was not faithful to him.

The incident took place in Rustumbada village, on Saturday.

The information reported that, The deceased victim, Mahalakshmi, sustained grievous injuries on her head and face and succumbed soon after. Her husband, M Venkateshwara Rao, later surrendered at Narsapuram rural police station.

Their 11-year-old son, Rajesh, tried to save Mahalakshmi from the assault but he was pushed aside by Venkateshwara Rao. Besides Rajesh, the couple has a 13-year-old daughter Kalyani.
