Telangana gets Rs 19,207 Cr of taxes

Hyderabad Feb 4: The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has presented the budget on Feb 1 and has announced the allocations made by the union government for various schemes . However Telangana government has expressed its dissatisfaction over the allocation of funds to the state.

The Funds allocated to the state by central government in the budget are as follows
# Rs 10 crore for the Tribal University
#Rs 75 crore for the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
#Rs 2000 crore allocated for Singareni
#Rs 50 cr for Industrial incentives
#Rs 5 cr for Indian Institute of packaging
#RS 4 Cr for Indian national center for OCean Informative Services
# the total share of TS in central taxes RS 19,207 Cr
#Rs 5,382 crore towards the state’s share in corporate tax
# Rs 4,772 crore in income tax
#Rs 0.17 crore in property tax
#CGST, Rs 6,181 crore
#IGST, Rs 511 crore
#customs duty, Rs 946 crore
# central excise duty, Rs 822 crore
#Budget 2016-17 adjustment, Rs 481 crore.
