BJP Performs cow protection yagna in karnataka

Bengaluru Feb 4: Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka on Saturday has successfully conducted a 24-hour Ashtayama Yagna, a religious programme to create awareness about the importance of cow.

Sources said that state BJP cell has completed the yagna to protect the cow even though very few people have attended the program.

Local leaders said that no one from the top leaders have attended the event and it was expected that BJP State President and Chief Ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa would attend the interview but he dropped in the last movement.

BJP officials have said that many top leaders were busy in organizing a mega rally today which would be attended by PM Modi so they couldn't attend the cow protection rally.

Meanwhile, the Congress has alleged that yagna is a political stunt but BJP had denied it.
