Chandra Babu Naidu takes U-turn on BJP alliaince

Amaravati, Feb 04: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reportedly called up Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday, in the backdrop of both parties being irked with the BJP at the Centre.

The reason behind this is AP CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his disgruntlement with the Union budget, in this regard, he called up Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray.

AP CM called up Thackeray and said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was sore over the "stepmotherly" treatment meted out by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to its regional friends.

Reports suggested that Naidu complained about the BJP ignoring its allies, and informed Thackeray that the mood in TDP was to end the alliance and contest alone in the 2019 elections.
