KTR praises guards for saving old man suffered with Heart attack

Hyderabad, Feb 01: The Telangana Urban Development and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao took to Twitter to appreciate home guards who rescued a heart attack victim.

The home guards - Chandan Singh and Inayatullah Khan, working in Bahadurpura Police station saved the life of a heart attack victim on Wednesday at Puranapul.

Lauding the efforts of the home guards, KTR tweeted that all the constables need to undergo CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training as it will be useful in catastrophic situations.


The Minister also posted the video of the home guards who sprung into action after witnessing a man collapse on the road. The video shows the home guard pumping his heart and perform a cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Later, an ambulance was called and the victim was taken to the hospital. The video which has now gone viral has been garnering a lot of praise for the home guards for their zealous spirit.
