Rajamouli to play lengthy role as Doctor for first time

Hyderabad, Jan 30: The Tollywood Ace director SS Rajamouli, who has directed several stars in his filmography, is getting ready to turn an actor himself. Even though he has played cameos earlier, this is the first time he is going to essay a lengthy supporting role in the new film to be directed by his assistant.

We have exclusively learned that Rajamouli gave his nod to play the role of a Doctor in the new film of his assistant, Karuna Kumar. The latter has earlier made his directorial debut with Nithin and Priyamani starrer, 'Drona'. The film was a box office bomb.

After a long sabbatical, Kumar has materialized his new film, in which two newcomers will play lead roles. Rajamouli's character will be a crucial one. The film will go on floors next month. Writer-director Hari Prasad, who made his directorial debut with "Darsakudu", has penned story and dialogues. He is the associate of director Sukumar.

So, despite the newcomers in lead, the untitled film has ace director SS Rajamouli, his assistant Karuna Kumar and Sukumar's associate Hari Prasad working for it, which looks enough to draw the attention of movie buffs.
