IAS Officer M Padma took charges as Kanaka Durga Temple EO

Vijayawada, Jan 29: IAS officer M Padma, who was posted as the Executive Officer of the famed Kanaka Durga temple, located atop the Indrakeeladri hill here, took charge on Monday.

Talking to media, Ms Padma said that she would strive to provide hassle-free darshan of goddess to the devotees. She said that she would take steps to perform rituals in the temple as per the Agamasastra.

The EO informed that she would ensure the implementation of e-governance in all the departments in the temple and carry out the administration in the temple on the lines of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD).

The priests of the a temple had blessed her on the occasion. It may be mentioned here that the government had transferred EO A Surya Kumari three weeks ago and appointed Endowment Commissioner Y V Anuradha as in-charge EO of the temple.
