Telangana one among 5 states which contribute 70 % of Exports

Hyderabad Jan 29: The government has today tabled the economic survey in parliament ahead of the budget session and the Cheif Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanyam has addressed the media regarding the survey.CEA had revealed the data of states exports.

The data revealed that 5 states are responsible of 70 % of total Indian Exports. Telangana IT Minister KTR had reacted on the economic survey and has tweeted that

"Data on the international exports of states (#First time in India's history) suggests a strong correlation between export performance & States’ Standard of Living."

He has also tweeted that "Delighted that for the 1st time in Indian History 5 States, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka & Telangana account for 70% of India's Exports as per GoI".

Finally, he has tweeted that "Just glad that Telangana joined the league of large manufacturing & exporting states in a short time."
