CEA :Rising global oil prices a Concern for Indian economy

New Delhi Jan 29: The government has today tabled the economic survey in parliament ahead of the budget session and the Cheif Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanyam has addressed the media regarding the survey.CEA had highlighted the major challenges that may decelerate the Indian economy in the coming year.

# Rise of Global oil prices: The prices of crude oil in global markets are increasing these days and it is expected that the prices would further increase in the coming year and this would affect the exports and the domestic oil prices may also go up significantly.The oil prices may increase 12 % next year.

# stock prices: Currently there are some days when stock markets collapse hugely and government must be careful during those peak stages as investors wealth may be eroded

#studden stall of capital flows: India may not pose a huge challenge but must be cautious.
