KTR :NRIs must be brand Ambassdors

Zurich Jan 23: Telangana Municipal Administration and IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao had held meetings with Non-Resident Indians hailing from Telangana and urged them to become the goodwill and brand ambassadors for their State and highlight the progress achieved in the youngest State of India.

Speaking at a Meet-and-Greet programme organized by Telangana NRIs in Zurich on Monday, KT Rama Rao has said that "Telangana NRIs should introduce industrialists interested in investing money to the Telangana government.The NRIs could now purchase lands in Telangana without any apprehension, in view of several government initiatives like the purification of land records, rejuvenation of tanks, effective steps to check pollution and improvement of law and order etc in the State."

He explained in detail about the government policies, schemes and other initiatives which won laurels from all quarters."The development is such that even those who opposed the formation of Telangana are now forced to congratulate the government for its achievements".
