4 arrested for possession of 21.5 Kgs of Ganja, seized

Hyderabad, Jan 23: The Hyderabad city police on Monday arrested three persons and seized 21.5 kgs of Ganja from their possession.

On credible information, West Zone Task Force team arrested Mahipal Singh(33) of Mangalhat and a native of Uttar Pradesh, Sheela Bai(35) of Mangalhat, Raj Kumari (40) of Mangalhat and Ravi(25) of Mangalhat (absconding) at Shivlal Nagar, Mangalhat when they were trying to sell the narcotic substance to the needy customers, police said.

Accused Ravi used to purchase Ganja from unknown persons at agency areas of Warangal and Vishakapatnam districts and used to store the Ganja in the room of accused Mahipal Singh.

Later the accused Sheela Bai, Raj Kumari, and Mahipal Singh were selling the Ganja to needy persons on a higher price. Later they will share the amount equally.

The accused along with the seized material were handed over to Mangalhat Police Station for further investigation.
