Sensex crosses 36,000,NIFTY touches 11,000

Mumbai Jan 23: Sensex and Nifty have created a new record and have touched new heights ahead of the budget which would be presented on FEB 1.
Sensex has crossed 36,000 mark and Nifty had crossed 11,000 mark on Tuesday morning. Sources said that the equity market have risen because of the positive sentiment that prevailed that the PM Modi would address the plenary session of World Economic Forum on Tuesday.
BSE index Sensex has gained 307.41 points or 0.86 percent and is at 36,105.42 and NSE index Nifty has gained 107.55 points or 0.98 percent at 11,073.73.
Many investors and stockbrokers have celebrated the event by distributing sweets and the following stocks of Axis Bank, Hindalco, Infosys, ONGC, and Reliance were the major gainers while Asian Paints, Wipro, have gained.
