Vishaka emerges as new hub of AP

Vizag Jan 21: The new Andhra Pradesh with its limited resources selected Amaravati as its capital. The Andhra region so far claimed Vijayawada as commercial capital due to business and floating population. Important Railway junction connecting far south to other Indian states in the north as well eastern Orissa Bengal etc.

With the emergence of New state separated from Telangana new center of business has become a necessity.The necessity is being filled up with Vizag in Vishakpatnam.Decades back Visakha became famous with "Vishakas steel, Andhra Right" echoing in the ears of AP residents.
Before that the city was renowned as strategic navel harbor for defense purposes, in the east renowed Andhra University is also here.

Whether it is for uniform development of the state,or due to similarity Vishaka is being developed by the present Chief Minister as the hub of business activity.The city with central undertakings, such as Vishaka Ispat Nigam, highly developed defense naval Dockyard, other central offices is expected to grow further.In order to develop it as tourist spot, the CM Chandrababu Naidu wants to have an Air Force Museum.

Under the Beautification programme of the city, a Rotary Separate Model flyover also will be built here soon. This is also going to be a distinct landmark in the country.The upper layer of this flyover will be for use of Pedestrians, while lower will be used by vehicular Traffic.

Vishaka being the nearest City connecting Orissa, Bengal, Chattisgarh, It will Occupy Prominent Place soon. There was proposal for Walter Railway division also.Anyway in this newborn AP the city may become business capital brimming with activity.
