Karni Sena to theatres:Release 'Padmaavat' at your own risk

Maharastra Jan 20: Rajput Karni Sena and other right-wing groups on Saturday have escalated the protests against the Bollywood Film Padmavat and said that theatres can release the film at their own risk.

Pune Karni Sena President Om Singh Bhati said that"We are appealing to the movie theatres that if they are releasing the film then they should release it at their own responsibility. We also appeal to the public not to come out of their house on January 25,".

He added that "if 'Padmaavat' was allowed to get released on January 25, the day would be recorded as the black day in the history." Earlier the Karni Sena had protested in Gujarat against the release of the film.

The SC had lifted the ban passed by state governments to stop the film from screening .Padmavat is a periodic film directed by Bhansali and is slated to release on Jan 25 and the film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
