Finance Minister attends Halwa Ceremony

NewDelhi Jan 20: The Union Government has started preparation of Budget and a halwa Ceremony was conducted today in the union finance ministry's department.The Halwa Ceremony marks the inauguration of budget documents printing.

After the ceremony is concluded all the officers responsible for budget preparation would be locked inside the department and they would only come out after the budget is present in parliament.The budget would be presented on Feb 1, 2018.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has participated in the ceremony and has served the sweet to all the officials present. Currently, many people hope that the upcoming budget would bring cheers to them.
