US Warns Pakistan on Hafeez Sayad ,Demands prosecution of Terrorist

Washington Jan 19: The USA Government on Thursday has once again reiterated that Hafiz Saeed is a 'terrorist' and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The strong remarks from the US comes a day Pakistan PM has said that "there is no evidence against Let Cheif and no action would be taken and there is no case on him".

US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said that " We believe that he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. He is listed by the UNSC 1267, the Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee for targeted sanctions due to his affiliation with Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is a designated foreign terror organization."

"We have made our points and concerns to the Pakistani government very clear. We believe that this individual should be prosecuted." She added

Hafeez Sayed is the mastermind of 26/11 Terrorist Attacks in Mumbai and NIA had filed a charge sheet against him in a terror funding case in Kashmir.
