2 killed, 3 injured after car collides with RTC bus

Kurnool, Jan 18: Here is tragic incident has appeared while two persons killed and another three were injured seriously when the car in which they were traveling collided head-on with an RTC bus on Kurnool-Kadapa highway on Wednesday.

The reports revealed that, The two deceased were identified as K Padmavati, 32 and Ravikumar, 30, of Timmapuram village in Mahanandi Mandal in the district.

According to Panyam police, the car going to Mahanandi from Kurnool was hit by an RTC bus coming in opposite direction at Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College on the highway under Panyam police station limits.

Two persons in the car died on the spite and another three suffered serious injuries. Panyam police who rushed to the spot after being alerted by passers-by shifted the injured to Kurnool government hospital and the bodies of the dead to Nandyal general hospital said Circle Inspector of Panyam G Parthasaradhi Reddy.
