An International Trade Centre to be set up in Vizag soon

Vishakapatnam, Jan 13: The Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said on Friday that, An International Trade Centre of women entrepreneurs will be set up in the city. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation during the inaugural of International Conference of Women Entrepreneurs to be held from January 17 to 19.

Announcing details at a press conference along with the president of Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India K. Rama Devi and District Collector Pravin Kumar, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said a 50-acre site was allotted to the trade centre at Gidijala.

Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Industry and Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, MSME Minister Giriraj Singh and SAARC Secretary General Amjad Hussain B Sial are among the other important personalities participating.

The conference will be held in partnership with the South Asian Women Development Forum and under the aegis of the State government. Mr. Srinivasa Rao said the organization was already involved in developing industrial parks in Krishna, Anantapur and Nellore districts and in Rangareddy district of Telangana.
