Vishakapatnam ranks 2nd in 'Janma Bhoomi-Maa Vooru' 5th round

Vishakapatnam, Jan 13: The Vishakapatnam district stood second in the State in the fifth round of "Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru" programme that concluded on Thursday.
At the Zilla Parishad conference hall, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao congratulated District Collector Pravin Kumar and felicitated him.
The achievement was made possible by the co-operation right from panchayat level, he said.
At the district level programme, he gave away merit certificates and mementos to 172 persons.
Among those selected for the awards were GVMC, Elamanchili municipality, Anantagiri and Narsipatnam mandals and 39-gram panchayats. ZP Chairperson Lalam Bhavani, MLC P.V.N. Madhav and Joint Collector G. Srijana participated.
