Telangana MPs express displeasure about completion of railway projects

Hyderabad Jan 11: Telangana MPs have met South Central railway general manager Vinod Kumar on Wednesday in Hyderabad and they expressed their concern over the inordinate delay in the completion of several projects.The MPS have submitted few demands that need to be included in the railway and general budgets for allocation.

Miryalaguda MP Gutta Sukender said that "the South Central Railway zone, despite being top in earning revenue is indifferent in resolving pending issues." He added that " the Nalgonda-Macherla line which was sanctioned in 1997 but is yet to see the light even after 20 years,".

The MP further has also expressed concerns in delay of construction of Pagidipalli- Nallapadu doubling works and Jaggayyapet-Mellachervu passenger line.

Finally, the MPs expressed displeasure over the delay in works and they demanded a new line between Kazipet-Karimnagar via Huzurabad and special trains for the Medaram Jatara.
