Amazon's CEO crosses Bill Gates, becomes world no 1 richest person

Amazon Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeff Bezos has yet again become the richest person in the world. He crossed Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index stated that Bezos made $6.1 billion in five trading days in 2018 and is now worth $105 billion.
Bezos's net worth grew by about $32.6 billion in 2017, majority of it coming from 78.9 million shares he owns in his company. The Amazon CEO surpassed Gates in October with a net worth of $93.8 billion and his fortune crossed $100 billion for the first time a month later with holiday shopping season kicking off on Black Friday.
Forbes put Bezos's net worth at $104.4 billion. Bezos' other holdings include the Washington Post and Blue Origin, a private space travel business that intends to take tourists to space.
