200 injured in south African Train crash

South Africa Jan 9: In a tragic incident at least 200 persons were injured on Tuesday morning in a train crash on the outskirts of Johannesburg. Sources said that "Two Metrorail passenger trains collided at the Geldenhuys Station in Germiston".

Sources added that officials have reached the spot and the patients have been shifted to nearby hospitals, however, no person has been dead in the crash." Further details are awaited regarding the train crash.

The officials are investigating the case and the rescue operations are on. This is the second incident in the week earlier 20 people died and 250 passengers were injured in train collision with a truck .
