Sankranthi Season: SCR increases Platform ticket Prices

Hyderabad, Jan 09: In order to clash the Sankranthi season the South Central Railway has announced the platform Ticket here on today.

"The South Central Railway(SCR) has announced a 100% hike in platform ticket price during the Sankranthi festival week to regulate the flow of people entering the platforms", according to a official Statement

Sources added that, For the period between January 11 and January 17, the ticket price has been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 20.

The Railways believes this would avoid inconvenience to the travelling public by means of ensuring decongestion of platforms, an official statement informed on Monday.
