Twitter :Wont block World Leaders

NewYork Jan 6: The world Microblogging Site Twitter has announced a shocking decision that it wont block the accounts of world leaders even if they post "controversial" statements. The Social Media Platform has cited that a need to promote a 'public conversation' on political issues.

The company has tweeted that "Twitter is here to serve and help advance the global, public conversation. Elected world leaders play a critical role in that conversation because of their outsized impact on our society."

"Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial tweets would hide important information people should be able to see and debate. It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions."

This Action comes after some groups and Activists have urged Twitter to block the Account of US President Trump as he made controversial statements that he had a more powerful nuclear button with him.

Earlier Twitter has announced a new policy to identify hateful and controversial tweets made by people and has blocked some of the accounts as they were promoting terrorism and hateful speeches.
