GHMC sanctions Rs.43 Crores for Civic Works in Quthbullapur

Hyderabad, Jan 01: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has released Rs 43.12 crore for taking up 72 different works at various locations falling under the Quthbullapur constituency.

This comes after the 'Mana Nagaram' Town Hall meeting of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) KT Rama Rao.

In the Mana Nagaram meeting on December 16, Rao assured Quthbullapur Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs) of resolving their issues related to various departments at the earliest.

GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy said the civic works, which were identified in the meeting, will be completed in the next 10 days.

The Commissioner said such meetings were aimed at interacting with residents at a personal level, identifying civic issues and addressing them at the earliest.
