APGENCO bags Best Power Generation Award

Vijayawada, Dec 30: The Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) on Friday was accorded the "Best Performing Utilities – Power Generation" award during the ENERTIA National Awards 2017 for Sustainable Energy & Power in New Delhi.

While congratulating the engineers and employees of APGENCO on this occasion, Mr. Vijayanand, Managing Director of APGENCO, stated that the unstinting support of the State government helped the AP power sector to a larger extent in crossing several milestones in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution, reliable energy sources and energy efficiency which ultimately helped the state in achieving surplus power.
