AIADMK expels over 130 Dinakaran supporters from party

Chennai, December 29: In a major blow, The ruling AIADMK continued its crackdown on the TTV Dhinakaran camp by sacking more than 130 functionaries today for bringing "disrepute" to the party.

Earlier They have dismissed 44 supporters of sidelined leader and Independent legislator T.T.V. Dinakaran from the party.

party Coordinator and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and Joint Coordinator and Chief Minister K. Palaniswami announced the decision.

They announced "removing" 132 persons from the party's district units of Tirupur, Pudukottai and Dharmapuri.

A total of 132 functionaries were sacked from the party. Tirupur topped the list with 65 being expelled.
