40 people died in a blast in kabul

Kabul Dec 28: In a tragic incident a Blast has occurred in Kabul at a compound comprising a news agency, Shia cultural center, and religious school in Kabul the capital of Afghanistan.

Sources said that at least 40 people have been killed and dozens wounded in the blast. The explosion early on Thursday struck an area close to the Afghan Voice news agency and Tebyan cultural center.

Local witness have said that "A suicide bomber detonated explosives near a cultural house belonging to Shia Afghans."

The officials have rushed to the spot and the rescue operations are on and the injured have been shifted to the nearest hospitals for treatment.

The police have booked a case and the probe is going on. Further details are awaited.
