International Sweet Festival to be held in January at Hyderabad

Hyderabad Dec 28: Hyderabad City would gear another international event in January 2018. The city had already hosted international events Global Entrepreneurship Summit and World Telugu Conference.

Hyderabad would host International Sweet Festival from January 13 to 15 at the parade ground. Telangana Tourism Secretary Burra Venkatesham had interacted with various regional associations.He has said that "most popular delicacies from each State will be offered in various varieties and would be displayed at the counter".

He added that "Only sweets prepared in homes by families will be presented and not prepared in hotels and more than 1000 sweets would be displayed at the event".

"Sweets from foreign countries will also be presented alongside the Indian delicacies and only some sweets would be allowed for sale ".

The festival would be held along with the International Kite festival that would held during Sankranti festival.
