IIPE bill passed in Rajyasabha

New Delhi Dec 27: Union Government had fulfilled one more promise to the Andrapradesh. The Rajya sabha Today has passed IIPE Bill 2017

According to the bill Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, Institute would be set up in Vizag in Andrapradesh as promised in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.

While speaking on the bill Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Institutes Autonomy would be protected and the center would support the institute.The Minister added that the Institute had already been established and Academic sessions are going on.

Many members have supported the bill and thanked the government for its commitment.Earlier the bill was passed in Loksabha in Monsoon session of parliament.
