Telangana Congress to celebrate the party formation day on Dec 28

Hyderabad Dec 27: The Congress party in Telangana had decided to celebrate the party's 133rd formation day on December 28. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday has directed the party workers to organize grand celebrations on Thursday.

TPCC president had held meetings with the Congress leaders and has asked the party leaders to hoist Congress party's flag in the headquarters of all Assembly constituencies in Telangana at 10.30 am on December 28 followed by meetings and other celebrations.

He added that the "Indian National Congress party was formed on December 28, 1885, and it launched the war for independence. Congress leaders have given supreme sacrifices during freedom movement and served the people with the same spirit in independent India."

" He said that the Congress Formation Day was highly significant not only for the party but for the entire nation. He said grand celebrations were also being organized at party's headquarters Gandhi Bhavan on December 28 and appealed the entire cadre to participate."
