22 Injured in Fire Accident in Cuba

Havana Cuba, Dec 26: In a deadly incident a fireworks explosion took place at a Cuban carnival on Christmas Eve on Monday. Nearly 22 people were injured including six children in the accident.However, no person was dead and the rescue team had put off the fire.

The government officials have said that "An unfortunate accident with fireworks occurred last night in Remedios."

Currently, many people celebrate the centuries-old Parrandas festival in the central town of Remedios which takes place every December 24 and draws local as well as international attention.

Police said that "The cause of the explosion was under investigation and More Details are awaited."
