CM Naidu directs CRDA officials to set up expo on Amaravati

Amaravati, Dec 25: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed AP Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) officials to apprise President Ram Nath Kovind on various developmental works being undertaken in Amaravati and how it had already attracted the attention of global investors from various advanced countries.

During a review meeting on the arrangements for the visit of the President to Amaravati with senior officials of CRDA on Sunday, the Chief Minister asked Principal Secretary Ajay Jain and CRDA Commissioner Ch Sreedhar to conduct an exhibition showcasing the glory of Amaravati city and apprise the President in detail of the efforts of the State government to transform it into the best world-class capital city, during his visit to Amaravati on December 27.

The exhibition consisting of various models of infrastructural facilities such as roads and buildings, Sakhamuru Park, Assembly, High Court and government buildings will be presented to the President.

He also instructed that a comprehensive presentation be made explaining the historical significance of Amaravati.
