TTD cancels all arjitha sevas from Dec 28 till Jan 1st

Tirupati, Dec 22: The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) has geared up to meet the pilgrim rush and has begun arrangements for the auspicious days including Vaikunta Ekadasi on December 29, Dwadasi on 30 and New Year.
In view heavy year-end rush, TTD has canceled all arjitha sevas from December 28 till January 1, TTD said in a release here on Thursday.
As the Vaikuntha Ekadasi is falling on Friday, with special Dhanurmasa Pujas and Abhisheka Kainkaryams, the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam is reduced by four hours.
Darshan for VIPs will commence from 05:30 hrs onwards and for common devotee after 8 am on December 29.
As over one lakh pilgrims are expected to throng Tirumala during these occasions, TTD has made elaborate queue line arrangements for the devotees.
