Exit Polls says BJP Win

Gujarat, December 14: Voting has ended in the second phase of the Gujarat assembly elections 2017. The voting percentage has climbed to 62.37 till 4 pm.

The exit poll for Gujarat elections, in two phases, predicts that the saffron party will win.

According to the ABP News-CSDS exit poll, BJP is likely to sweep in Gujarat's Saurashtra-Kuch region. BJP is likely to get 34 seats out 54 seats while Congress is likely to get 19.

Republic TV predicts BJP will lead with 108 seats, Congress to get 74 seats in Gujarat.



Polling was held on 93 Gujarat assembly seats in 14 districts in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led an aggressive election campaign for the BJP. Gujarat has 182 assembly seats.

The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for the last 22 years. The Congress is also looking to make a comeback in Gujarat; party president-elect Rahul Gandhi led the Congress campaign for the Gujarat assembly polls.
