TRS Chief to suspend Nizamabad MLC Bhupati Reddy

Hyderabad, Dec 14: The Telangana ruling party MLC from Nizamabad district, Rekulapally Bhupathi Reddy is likely to be suspended from the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) for his anti-party activities including his repeated criticism of party MLAs in public fora.

MLAs, MLCs, and party MP K. Kavita, from Nizamabad, met in the house of minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday and decided to urge the party president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to suspend Bhupati Reddy from the party. A letter to this effect will be written by the party general secretary and in-charge of undivided Nizamabad Tula Uma to the party president shortly.

Bhupati Reddy, who was elected to the Legislative Council from Local Authorities Constituency of Nizamabad in 2015, has not been seeing eye to eye with party legislator from Nizamabad Rural constituency, Bajireddy Goverdhan, for a long time.
