PM Modi :NPA is UPA's biggest scam,Assures People on FRDI bill

New Delhi Dec 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed the FICCI 90th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday and made serious allegations on the UPA government. PM has said that huge amount of loans were given to some industrialists and banks were forced to lend the corporates and termed it a bigger scam.

Prime Minister has said that "These NPAs were the biggest scam of UPA government. A bigger scam than Commonwealth, 2G, coal scams. In a way, this was a way for people in the government to loot the public's wealth through the medium of industrialists."



He had also said that his government had tried to restore the health of the banks. Modi has also spoken about the negative reports on FRDI bill and said that The government ensures that deposits of customers are safe and people should not worry.

Finally, he has also said that the main Aim of GST is to ensure a large number of people come under formal tax system so that they can get credit from banks and not to extract taxes forcefully.
