Gujarat final poll Began,PM Modi's mother cast her vote

Gujarat Dec 14: The second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections have begun today.The polling is underway for 93 seats in 14 districts of the state. Earlier the first phase of elections took place on Dec 9.

The elections are being held in north and central Gujarat, in the final phase of the polls. It is expected that 2.22 crore people would exercise their franchise. The polling began around 8 Am.



Prime Minister Modi's mother Heeraben has cast her vote in Gandhinagar.BJP party president Amit Shah has cast his vote in the state.Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had also cast his vote in Ahmedabad . Many Congress leaders have also cast their votes.

The counting would take place on Dec 18 .
