Maharashtra CM's Wife Amruta Fadnavis trolled by netizens

Mumbai, Dec 13: The Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' wife Amruta Fadnavis was trolled by netizens on social media for putting out a post on Twitter promoting a Christmas-themed charitable event in Mumbai.

"launched-Be Santa-campaign, as Ambassador for @927BIGFM - to collect gifts from people -for poor children, to bring smiles to their faces during this Christmas.Drop ur gifts at nearest @927BIGFM & Feel the joy-as best way to multiply your happiness is by sharing it with others", Amruta tweeted.

And soon enough, Amruta Fadnavis was criticised for celebrating Christian festivals and 'forgetting' Diwali. Many even dragged in Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and questioned him as well.

After the trolling went out of control and users on Twitter dragged in the chief minister, Amruta Fadnavis put out another tweet.

"Love, sharing & empathy have no religion - let’s accept all positivity around us & stay away from negative thoughts & demotivating energies!" she mentioned in her another tweet.
