Indian Railways Introduces 'Anubhuti luxury coaches'

Mumbai Dec 12: In a move to improve the passengers experience Indian Railways has decided to add new coaches to Shatabdi Express. The Railways has built 'Anubhuti luxury coach range'- an air-conditioned chair car and the cost of chair car is Rs 2.84 crore.The coaches have been manufactured at Integral Coach Factory in Chennai.

Main Features of the Coach

# A blue color scheme with artistic patterns of flowers and leaves.
# Reclining chairs have seat-back entertainment screens, USB slots.
# Tray tables that slide back into the space under the armrest.



# Adjustable reading lights and call buttons to summon an attendant
# Rail information screens on both sides in the middle of the coach
# Anti-graffiti protection
# Ergonomically designed bio-toilets with touch-free taps to reduce wastage of water.
# Coaches designed to offer more leg space to passengers

Sources said that the maximum seating capacity is 56.
