Congress demands apology from PM Modi over insinuations on Pakistan links

New Delhi, December 11: There is a huge political Drama has been witnessing ahead of Gujarat Elections.Earlier, the Congress leader Manishanker Aiyer has commented harshly on Prime Minister Modi calling as Neecha AAdmi, later the Congress party has suspended over the issue.

Now again PM Modi was in headlines in recent times, That, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Pakistan of interfering in the ongoing Assembly elections. Moreover, Modi also claimed that retired Pakistani military officers are willing to help senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel become the chief minister of the state.

In this regard, The Congress leaders fired on the PM Modi and demand apology from Modi.

Yesterday, without furnishing proof, Modi alleged the Congress is colluding with Pakistan and talked of a "three-hour secret meeting" attended by Pakistan's high commissioner, its former foreign minister, former PM Manmohan Singh, and former Vice-President Hamid Ansar.

The PM needs to apologize to Singh and Ansari for his "reprehensible" comments, said a Congress spokesman.

The Congress said there was nothing secret about the event attended by a host of past and present diplomats, political personages and journalists. It's "unwarranted and irresponsible" of the PM to give the event a sinister twist, said Congress spokesman Anand Sharma.
