3 militants gunned down in Kashmir

Jammu Kashmir, December 11: The Police officilas said that, Three militants were killed in an overnight encounter in north Kashmir.
"In Unisoo Handwara, all the three terrorists, apparently Pakistanis, have been neutralised by the joint team of J&K Police, RR &CRPF. It has been raining whole night & boys were out there in the cold," tweeted Jammu-Kashmir police chief SP Vaid
The gunfight broke out in Unisoo village of Handwara in North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday night after security forces received a tip off about the presence of these militants in a house.
The operation comes on the heels of security forces claiming that they have killed 200 insurgents in the Kashmir Valley this year.
