Cancer Patient Raped in UP, Lucknow

Lucknow, December 11: In a drastic incident, a 15-year-old cancer survivor was allegedly raped by two men in Sarojini Nagar in Lucknow and was later sexually assaulted by another person whom she asked for help, police said on Sunday.

According to the sources, The commuter, identified as Virendra Yadav of Banthara, initially pretended to help the girl but eventually forced himself on her, reports says.

According to the complaint filed with the police, the girl had gone to a local market when one of the two accused Shubham, offered to drop her home.

The Accused took her on the bike to a secluded spot where he and his friend Sumit raped her by turns till midnight.

Virendra Yadav has been arrested but the two boys are still at large. The girl has reportedly been undergoing treatment for blood cancer for the last five years at a hospital in Lucknow.
