Mehbooba Mufti about Dangal Actress

Jammu, December 10: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said she was appalled by the incident wherein 'Dangal' fame actress Zaira Wasim was allegedly molested on a flight, and sought swift action in the matter.

She condemned the molestation of Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim on board a Delhi-Mumbai flight by a co-passenger.

She took her officila Twitter Handler, Any harassment/crime against women shld be dealt with swiftly & effectively. As a mother of 2 daughters I am appalled at what happened with @zairawasimz. Hope the relevant authorities take strict action.



Former chief minister Abdullah demanded punishment for the suspect.

Abdullah tweeted: "The passenger should be identified to the police by @airvistara and a case filed for legal action. None of this 'he fell at my feet, so I forgive him' rubbish!".
