Ayodhya Dispute: Supreme court defers final hearing to Feb 8

New Delhi Dec 6: The hearing of Ayodhya dispute began in Supreme court yesterday and intense heated arguments were made by all members and the Suuni waqf Board members lawyer and Congress leader Kapil Sibal has urged the supreme court to postpone the hearings to July 2019 as the verdict may have social and political ramifications.

However, the court has rejected their submission and has ordered that the final hearing would take place from February 8, 2018, and ordered all the parties to submit the translated documents before the date.The court said that the case would be heard on a daily basis and there would be no delay ".

However, Shia Waqf board has said that "we have submitted our proposal to build Ram Temple at Ayodhya and a mosque at Lucknow and the court has recorded the proposal".

The final hearing would take place as both the main petitioners in the case are dead.
