Governor ESL Narasimhan :"GST a Bold reform"

Hyderabad Dec 4: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states governor ESL Narasimhan has praised the Goods and Service Tax reform undertaken by the central government and said that it is a bold reform that paved way for one country one tax.

The governor has launched the Telugu version of mobile App of 'GST Rate Finder' in Raj Bhavan and said that "GST is the ultimate advantage to the common man, and it signifies a paradigm shift." He added that "the Telugu version of the 'GST Rate Finder,' the first in a regional language was a much-needed tool and would be helpful for the common man."

He has also urged the excise department to bring awareness among the people so that they would be benefitted.He added that "By broad-basing the tax net, more revenues will be generated for the greater benefit of the country and greater devolution of funds to States for greater development."

Finally, he said that "With the successful implementation of the game-changing reform of GST, India will join the league of super economic powers and peoples level of happiness will go up."
