KTR : TRS to support women reservation bill

Hyderabad Nov 29: The Global Entrepreneurship Summit was inaugurated on Tuesday and the second day of the session has begun today and Telangana IT Minister KTR had moderated a session.

Speaking after the session Telangana It minister KTR has spoken to the media and said that "Indian government has a larger role to play in encouraging women entrepreneurs."

He added that "Telangana government is taking steps to encourage women by women entrepreneurs scheme and special incentives are given and these are not enough a lot needs to be done".

KTR has added that "All men should introspect about the ingrained bias about the women in society so that governments institutions can change accordingly".

Minister has also spoken about lack of women cabinet ministers in the government and said that "There are only 6 women legislatures and this needs to change "

KTR has added that "TRS supports women reservations in state Assembly and Parliment and we have urged the central government to bring the women reservation bill."

Finally, he has said that "There are not enough women legislators and also due to some political reasons so that there are no women cabinet ministers and he hoped that CM would include some of them in next reshuffle ."
