40 Muslim Countries join hands in Saudi Arabia to wipe out terrorism

Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday vowed to "pursue terrorists until they are wiped from the face of the earth". The statement was issued after leaders of 40 Muslim countries gathered on Sunday in the first meeting of an Islamic counter-terrorism alliance.

"In past several years, terrorism has been functioning in all part of our countries… with no coordination” among national authorities, Prince Salman said at the gathering in Riyadh. "With this alliance, this ends today," Prince Salman said.

This is the first meeting of Prince Salman with leaders from the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, which is identified as a "Pan-Islamic United Front" against violent extremism.
